Having been on the Executive Committee of Future Faces for one year, Evelyn has just been elected as Vice President. Future Faces is a legally constituted section of the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, which aims to help businesses across all sectors support and develop staff who are committed to developing their careers.
During her first year on the Executive Committee, Evelyn helped deliver the highly successful Future Faces’ Leadership and Development series, which featured key business leaders from across region, visited the European Parliament ahead of the Referendum to ensure members were fully informed, and played a key role in the organisation of the Future Faces Annual Dinner and Awards 2016, which celebrated the diverse wealth of developing talent in the region. This was the second event of its kind, which experienced a 40 per cent increase in the number of attendees.
Evelyn was keen to become Vice President as she wanted to continue to support the growth of Future Faces. She acknowledges that the visibility of Futures Faces is strengthening, illustrated by the events receiving high profile business sponsorship (such as HSBC)., and works to maximise the Future Faces reach and ensure the voice of young professionals is continually represented through attendance at business events across the city. Evelyn’s management consultancy experience gives her a breadth of skills and knowledge gained through working across diverse sectors; and she prides herself on her consultation approaches and economic analysis skills, all of which will enable her to support the continued growth of Future Faces.
